Outcome of childhood acute leukemia treated with Thai national protocol
To evaluate the outcome of acute leukemia treatment in children with ALL and
ANLL using Thai Pediatric Oncology Group national protocol. 657 Thai children (<15 years of age) with acute leukemia diagnosed between March 2006 to February 2008 in 12 institutes throughout Thailand were studied. All patients were evaluated for duration of remission, timing of relapse presented as frequency and percentage, while overall survival (OS), event free survival (EFS)
were studied using Kaplan-Meier analysis. The results were compared with outcome of previous study before using national protocol.
